This holiday I’m excited to put a lot of thought into more functional gifts as well as solidify what my ‘wants’ actually are. For the last year and a half, I have become very curious about minimalism and how the things that surround us manipulate our responses and behaviors. Receiving gifts can certainly contribute to these feelings surrounding ‘stuff.’ I’m hoping that sharing this functional gift guide will inspire others to share this list or create a minimal and functional guide of your own.
That’s why I believe it’s an important thing to have an idea of the things that your loved ones desire as well as the things you feel you would use & love. We have a few weeks before Christmas comes therefore having a good idea of what you would and wouldn’t use can start now! Click the links below the images to shop the post!

The gifts I am focused on are ones that I have put on my “wish list” outside of just Christmas. This is a list I make when I know some of the items are investment pieces or something that I may not need immediately. All of these items are ones that I know I will use therefore they’ve made it to my Christmas wish list. With that, I believe that keeping gifts as functional as possible is a great avenue for giving a good present.
